    “Amazing Reading”

Are you afraid of the Dark is my third novel by Sidney Sheldon, respectfully. The title of the book first caught my attention and I realized I should give it a try. As expected, I was literally blown away by the plot development as I resumed the reading. The plot development was awesome, in it’s fair sense. The flashback, which Mr. Sheldon uses became and effective tool in the plot development. The individual qualities and attributes of Mr. Sheldon’s characters give them a true-to-life resemblance of today. That’s what stories are all about. I appreciate his choose of words for the readers and I am looking forward in reading it again since I found the book in a poor condition in our library and I did my best to cure it’s bindings and to perhaps, restore it’s powerful influence and magic to it’s readers.

I found this story very fascinating and interesting the story was very good and had a lot of suspense in it, at instance I read the whole book within a day, the story is about two women whose husbands were murdered and after sometime they were also tried to kill the two women escaped from death and helped each other to face troubles. At last they planned in such a way that whosoever was behind their life got killed

Of all the authors I have read so far…Sidney Sheldon is the one who has never disappointed me.He always comes up with breathtaking unputdownable suspense. The moment one thinks that this is it, there won’t be any more surprises BOOM!! and the biggest secret is revealed to you.The ending of his novels are always unpredictable and I simply love them for this very reason…this novel just carries his legacy forward. There is one thing that caught my attention this time; the title of the novel. I love the way he has woven the story around the title and not just given a title according to the story and BTW I just simply love the dark!!

It seems that I’m in a Sidney Sheldon marathon this January. This is my second Sheldon novel for the month; I had Morning, Noon & Night last week. What I appreciate about Sidney Sheldon is that his books are always page-turners, the kind that makes you not want to drop the book until you get to the last page. This is the reason why I was able to finish the each of the books above for only one day.I have some problems, though, with the way Sheldon peppered the book with quite a number of flashbacks. It somehow added to my confusion especially that there are a lot of names of the characters that I have to remember.Nonetheless, this is a story pregnant with much suspense and action, and the revelation towards the ending is a strong probability worthy of discussion.
