About The Author

Ashok Soota is the founding chairman of Happiest Minds Technologies and was the founding chairman of Mind Tree. Prior to Mind Tree, he led Wipro’s IT business for fifteen years. He has been the president of leading industry associations and a member of the prime minister’s task force for information technology and was on the advisory council of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He has a deep interest in entrepreneurship and philanthropy, for which he has founded the Ashirvadam Trust. His hobbies include the outdoors, travel, yoga, T’ai Chi and swimming.
S. R. Gopalan is the founder of Dawn Consulting and Bizworth India, which provide advisory services covering finance, regulation, taxation and strategic aspects of business and the valuation of enterprises and intangibles. Start-ups and early stage companies constitute a large proportion of his 350 clients. Gopalan was president of Tie Bangalore and serves on the boards of several companies. He has had a successful corporate career with Union Carbide and Wipro.
