About The Author

I was told off as a child for making up stories—little did I know that one day I’d earn my living by writing them!

To the horror of my parents, I left school at sixteen and held a bewildering variety of jobs: I was a London DJ (in the now-trendy Primrose Hill), a decorator and a singer. After that I became a cook, a photographer and, eventually, a nurse. I waitressed in the south of France, drove an ambulance in Australia, saw lots of beautiful sights but could never settle down. Everywhere I went I felt like a square peg—until one day I started writing again and then everything just fell into place. I felt like Cinderella must have when the glass slipper fit!

Today, I have the best job in the world, writing passionate romances for Harlequin. I like writing stories which are sexy and fast-paced, yet packed full of emotion—stories that readers will identify with, laugh and cry along with.

My interests are many and varied—chocolate and music, fresh flowers and bubble baths, films, cooking and trying to keep my home from looking burglarized! Simple pleasures—you can’t beat them!

I live in Winchester, one of the most stunning cities in the world, but don’t take my word for it—come see for yourself! I regularly visit London and Paris. Oh, and I love hearing from my readers all over the world…so I think it’s over to you!

    “Good Book”

The Sheikh’s Christmas Conquest was a compelling romance about a hero dealing with past heartache and the stubborn heroine who gives him a chance at love. While this book was a very quick read, compelling too I felt the hero was lacking that devious over the top obsessed quality which would have made it a 5 star I wanna do a reread type of romance. Sadly the hero has a mediocre alpha quality that makes this reader a bit disappointed

I have not read the first book in this series but that is ok as this book is a stand alone novel. This is another book that I have read recently where I found myself really into the storyline and the characters. Olivia takes the lead as a strong female but don’t count Saladin out too quickly as he can dish it right back to Olivia as much as she can hash it out. Their chemistry was undeniable. Plus they kept the story entertaining with their comments. I would not mind being stuck in a cabin in the winter with someone like Saladin. Even though Saladin is rich, he never flatted it and was down to Earth. The Sheikh’s Christmas Conquest is a fun, quick, steamy read.

I loved the way that Kendrick combines horses with people, loss with recovery, and intimacy with friendship. The convergence of these different aspects created an intricate and fulfilling tale. The lives of her characters really filled out this as well. The contrast between their personalities and personal circumstances made getting to know them even more fun. The small moments of role reversal interspersed throughout kept me on my toes and allowed me to get to know them even better. The romance building between them was all the stronger and more compelling because of it.This was a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas read. It was my first novel by this author, but I’ll definitely be looking for more of her work in the future.

A sparky romance occurs between Sheikh Saladin Al Mektala and horse healer Olivia Miller when Saladin turns up unannounced at her bed and breakfast home during Christmastime. Olivia has previously refused to go to Saladin’s land to help heal his beloved horse and stubborn Saladin refuses to take no for an answer.Events take an unexpected turn romantically for the two as Saladin and Olivia spend an uneasy couple of days together trapped together by bad weather. The sexual tension certainly ramps up and leads to some erotic and romantic moments.I enjoyed the verbal exchanges between the two characters and this story was very engaging. Olivia was no push over and neither was Saladin as they both pushed each others buttons and challenged each others weaknesses. If you are looking for a sexy and enjoyable romance then this is it!

Sweet love story about a brooding Sheikh who is still not over the death of his first wife and the woman who helps him heal the pain of his past. Hero was too arrogant and Olivia was a sweetheart so that’s a perfect combination as far as I’m concerned. Epilogue was heartwarming!
