About The Author

Shivya Nath grew up in Dehradun, at the base of the Himalayas in India. At the age of twenty-three, she quit her corporate job at the Singapore Tourism Board to travel the world. A couple of years later, she gave up her home, sold most of her belongings and started living nomadically. She has travelled to over fifty countries, and is the author of one of India’s leading travel blogs, The Shooting Star. She appeared on the cover of the National Geographic Traveller India magazine in 2017, and her intrepid journey has been featured on BBC Travel, NDTV, TEDx and several national and international publications. This is her first book.
