Nikita Singh is an Indian novelist. She has written nine novels including If It’s Not Forever , Love@Facebook , Right Here Right Now , Accidentally in Love With Him? Again? and The Unreasonable Fellows. In February 2013, Someone Like You, a book she co-wrote with Durjoy Datta, was released by Penguin India. It debuted at No. 5 at Hindustan Times Bestseller listNikita Singh was born in Patna, Bihar, where she spent the first four years of her life. She then relocated to Indore, where she went to primary school. She completed her schooling at Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi, in 2008. She graduated in pharmacy at the Acropolis Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in Indore in 2012. She is currently pursuing Masters degree in creative writing from The New School, New York City

The story revolves around Lavanya and Shourya. Lavanya, who is habitual of running away from the problems instead of facing them and trying to solve them. Right from the time when she was seventeen, she has been running from her life and the truths that surround it, especially her father’s secret. However, one day she finds out that she’s HIV positive. Her inner demons come rushing at her, but this time, it is not something she can run from.Shourya has had a heartbreak. He’s going through a harsh time that has left him broken and gloomy. Out of the blue moon, she runs into the person who meant the world to him a few years back – Lavanya. The past comes crashing into his present and he must make a decision that will define his future.This story is an package of emotions, it leads the reader on journey from Sorrows , worries , depression , happiness, friendship , betrayal , cheating and true love.
