Description:

The book The Very Hungry Caterpillar is considered as one of the famous books written by Eric Carle. The story is surrounded by a caterpillar that eats lot of food since his birth. He eats too much. Later, after his recovery he turns into a cocoon and remains the same for the next two weeks. Afterwards, he transforms into a beautiful and colourful butterfly.

With his late wife, Barbara, Eric Carle co-founded The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Massachusetts in 2002. Eric Carle divides his time between the Florida Keys and the hills of North Carolina.
