About The Author

Gaurishankar Govardhanram Joshi, better known by his pen name Dhumaketu was a Gujarati language writer, who is considered one of the pioneers of the Gujarati short story. He published twenty-four collections of short stories, as well as thirty-two novels on social and historical subjects, and plays and travelogues.
