About The Author

Julie Fletcher lives in Edinburgh where she creates children’s books and cards from a small, colourful studio. Originally from the west coast of Scotland, she studied Illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. Julie got her first job as an in-house designer for a greetings card company before becoming a full-time illustrator, initially working from her bedroom! In her spare time she likes to enjoy the outdoors, visit galleries and work on personal art projects.
