About The Author

Niveditha finished her undergraduation in English Literature from Stella Maris, Chennai.

A love for children’s books led her to an internship with Tulika, where she happily wrote and doodled, beginning with their book, Thumb Thumb Thambi and ending finally with another, Jalebi Curls.
She also worked with Tulika on Water Stories and with illustrator, Sowmya Rajendran, on a series of picture books – Think Big Books.

She is currently working on a bilingual book which is soon to be released.

She has also worked as a creative writer with a children’s magazine.

Niveditha is passionate about photography and has just completed a course in photojournalism in Light and Life Academy.

She hopes to make photo books for children, sometime.
