About The Author

Jack goes to stay with his grandfather, who tells him fantastic stories of his adventures at sea. Jack is enthralled and loves the stories but is upset by the taunts of other children who say his grandfather is a fraud. Then Jack goes to bed and is taken, with his grandfather, on an adventure.
