On Seashore Far a Green Oak Towers: A Book of Tales
by Alexander Pushkin
Description:
This is a delightful book of fairy tales. The majority of them come out of Russia (note the author, Pushkin), but some of the later ones come out of other countries as well, particularly Asian countries.
About The Author
Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin was a Russian author who is considered to be the greatest Russian poet and the founder of modern Russian literature. Pushkin pioneered the use of vernacular speech in his poems and plays, creating a style of storytelling—mixing drama, romance, and satire—associated with Russian literature ever since and greatly influencing later Russian writers.
